After working and destroying and starting over, I finally have my first real live novel ready to roll. I've been researching and getting advice and I didn't understand all of the work involved with writing. I have be humbled by the experience. Hopefully, I can keep everyone up to date with my progress and the crazies as I go along.

Blah, Blah, Blah

*Sigh* It's already one of those days. Here in Mississippi, the temps are dropping and it's promising rain by tonight. Times like this, I wish I wasn't at work. Instead, I'd be at home, bundled up with a cup of tea and fleshing out this chapter that is burning a hole in my mind. I suddenly can feel this woman - Chloe - talking in my head, telling me about her self. I wish she would be quiet long enough for me to finish grading papers.

I've been out on the web researching for my story. I guess this is a summary of it:

Her name is Chloe Dupuy. She is a biracial demon slayer descending from a line of demon slayers. Her family are Creole in origin and are originally from Louisiana. She is tough because her job demands it and she wants to be taken seriously. She has sister problems, mother issues and up until now has been really dodging love. Most men can't handle the truth of what she does so she has closed herself and her heart. When Kaylon comes to train under her father, she is attracted but refuses to give in to the feelings. Kaylon came knowing about her and was interested from the moment he was given the assignment. But Kaylon has a ulterior motive and will that motive get in the way of Chloe opening her heart.

OMG, Now I've done it.

I wanted somewhere that wasn't fanfiction and could just be my personal stuff and my serious writing. So, at the recommendation of a trusted advisor, here I am.
